As someone works 60-80 hour weeks, has ADHD and has been unorganized and messy my entire life, I realized I needed professional help. I wanted my home to be my safe haven and retreat from the stressors of life, but because of my disorganization and clutter, I found myself more stressed in my bedroom. Asking for help, let alone paying for it was brought me so much shame, but now I’m so glad that I did it.
Laura came and with absolutely no judgment, helped me put a system together that worked. She put together a system that was specifically catered to me and my needs. It’s not a one size fits all kind of service; she truly learns what will work for you and your lifestyle and needs.
She also left me with so many great tips for how I can continue to better my routine and organization! The gift that keeps on giving.

We are so thankful to Laura for helping us organize our garage. We had soo much junk and she helped us go through it all and create a clean space where we could actually find things! Who would have thought. The best part is that she takes all your old stuff and donates/throws it away. Thank you Laura!

After 60 years of living in California and 26 years living in the same house we decided to pack up and move to Texas to be near our children and grandchildren. We under estimated the amount of time and back breaking effort it was going to take to purge and pack up our house and a very full garage. I found Laura Maldonado with Recreate Spaces. To be honest I was a little surprised at how much a professional organizer and packer costs per hour...... Laura was less than most!! But once Laura and her team arrived it clearly was money well spent. There is no way we could have packed up our house in time for our closing date. Not only did she and her team pack and organize but they worked proficiently and methodically. I thought it would feel awkward having strangers in my home touching and packing my things but Laura and the other ladies were extremely nice and made the entire process so comfortable. I wish I could fly them out to Texas and have them unpack for me!! Laura and I spent several hours together. It's a shame that I'm moving so far away because I feel like I found a new friend!! My pups made friends with her too!!

Thank you very much for helping me with my senior client who needed to downsize and move into his next home. He walked into his place and he grinned from ear to ear. How do you do it, everything was perfect. He opened drawers in the kitchen and bathroom to see where his stuff was and said thank that woman.

Laura was able to create more of a logical flow within my kitchen. I now know where all of my baking ingredients are. All like to items are together and it just makes my life (and family) easier. I had items in several locations, now they are all in one spot.
I had 9 pie pans. I'm not a baker who sells pies and she asked if I needed all of them. She helped me by asking me to select the ones I wanted to keep and donated the rest.

Laura, Thank you for your professional work helping declutter and organize our kitchen. Things have been so busy with having family stay with us, raising a teenager, running a business, and navigating a divorce that I have let things go. I knew the disorganization was creeping up but was not sure how to tackle things to get back organized.
You came in and assessed the cupboards, drawers, and space and said, “I got this”. I appreciated that you pulled things out and put them in ‘stations’ (keep, donate, discard) until I could look at things and then you went to work making the most of tight spaces prioritizing what you knew I needed easy access to. Recreate Spaces helped me and my husband declutter our home prior to going on the market. The Realtor hired a stager to give us directions and we simply handed it over to Laura's team. There was lots of packing that happened and boy do we have some unusual items! Animal skulls, Indian headdress, swords to name a few. I've never had my items packed with such great care. There are a ton of definitions when it comes to what a "home means to you."
Lately a home has felt more like chaos because of excess toys or certain rooms not being functional.
Thankfully Laura is extremely kind, smart and helpful when it comes to making your home feel more like a "home" while making sure it's functional. The focus is not getting rid of stuff.
